The CinePearl Take
The film’s unobtrusive camera work lets the subjects’ daily grind speak for itself, creating a rhythm that feels both meditative and urgent. Director Lena Krüger balances lyrical landscape shots with the gritty reality of food shortages and energy crises, highlighting the psychological toll of isolation. The subtle narration—provided by the family’s teenage daughter—adds an authentic, generational perspective on climate anxiety.
