The CinePearl Take
Rising star Kim Hae‑sun anchors the pandemonium with a performance that balances raw panic and steely resolve, grounding the film’s frantic momentum. Director Lee Joon‑ho maintains a breakneck pace, letting the tension build without respite, while the muted gray palette heightens the sense of dread. Beneath the action, the movie probes how collective fear can both fracture and forge community bonds—a theme that feels especially resonant in a post‑COVID world.
