The CinePearl Take
Alia Bhatt shines with a breezy confidence that elevates the script’s occasional predictability, while Arjun Kapoor delivers a grounded, earnest counterpoint. The pacing briskly moves from campus romance to family negotiations without losing momentum, and the film’s core theme—balancing personal desire with parental expectations—resonates beyond its Indian setting. Though the narrative leans on familiar tropes, the performances keep it engaging.
