Why Watch This

45 combines high-octane action with fantasy and philosophical themes, built around an ordinary man's desperate fight for survival. When an unexpected incident puts Vinay in the path of Rayappa's fury, he is given 45 days to confront a threat that becomes increasingly difficult to escape. The film adds a mysterious and supernatural dimension through the presence of Shiva.

Best For

Best suited for viewers who enjoy Kannada action dramas with larger-than-life characters, intense rivalries, supernatural elements and philosophical ideas. The combination of Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra and Raj B. Shetty also makes it an appealing choice for fans of star-driven Kannada cinema.

The CinePearl Take

45 stands apart by placing a survival story inside a larger meditation on life, death and destiny. The mysterious significance of the number, the escalating conflict between its central characters and the film's fantasy elements give the action drama a more philosophical flavour than a straightforward revenge story. Arjun Janya also takes on the unusual challenge of directing after establishing himself as a leading music composer.

If You Liked This, Try

If you enjoy Kannada films that mix action with fantasy, philosophy and larger-than-life characters, try Kantara, UI, Kabzaa and Kurukshetra for more visually ambitious stories with supernatural, mythological or philosophical elements.
