The CinePearl Take

Morley’s latest is anchored by Lucy Halliday’s quietly powerful performance, which captures the protagonist’s conflicted loyalty with subtle nuance. Aidan Gillen brings his trademark intensity to a morally ambiguous father figure, adding layers to the town’s simmering secrets. The pacing is deliberately measured, allowing the coastal landscape to become a character in its own right, while the script’s thematic focus on intergenerational trauma feels both timely and resonant.
