The CinePearl Take
Kalyaan’s direction is bold, using saturated colour palettes and tight close‑ups to immerse you in the era’s chaotic energy. The breakout performance by newcomer Arjun Mehta (as aspiring singer Ravi) anchors the film with raw, earnest charisma. While the narrative drifts at times, the pacing picks up during the climactic audition sequence, delivering a satisfying payoff that celebrates perseverance.
