The CinePearl Take
Director Lee Min‑kyu (who made a splash with his short‑form dramas) captures Seoul’s neon‑lit alleys with a gentle, observational eye, letting the city become a character in its own right. The breakout performance by child actor Park Ji‑hoon, who balances mischief with raw vulnerability, anchors the film’s emotional core. While the pacing is deliberately unhurried, it never drags, allowing themes of responsibility, friendship, and redemption to breathe naturally.
