Best For
Horror fans, Creature feature lovers, Late‑night binge, Indie horror enthusiasts, Thriller seekers
The CinePearl Take
The film's strongest asset is Kellan Lutz's surprisingly gritty performance as the skeptical leader, grounding the outlandish premise. Director Jorg Ihle maintains a tight, breath‑shortening pace as the group descends deeper, letting the darkness itself become a character. While the script leans on familiar tropes, the practical effects and oppressive sound design elevate the dread. The thematic undercurrent of confronting past regrets adds a faint emotional layer to the blood‑soaked chase.
