The CinePearl Take
Pierre Morel’s trademark kinetic style translates well to the desert battlefield, keeping the tension tight from the opening ambush to the climactic extraction. The lead performance—though the cast isn’t internationally known—offers a gritty, understated presence that grounds the spectacle in human stakes. While the script leans on familiar rescue‑mission tropes, the authentic Saudi perspective and visceral combat choreography give it a fresh edge. At times the pacing feels relentless, but it serves the story’s urgency.
