The CinePearl Take

Director Khalidh Rahman gifts us a breezy, well‑paced romp that never loses sight of its emotional core. Naslen shines as the mischievous yet earnest club secretary, delivering his best comic timing to date, while Lukman Avaran provides a grounded counterpoint as the skeptical elder. The film’s biggest strength lies in its texture – the clatter of oars, the scent of coconut, and the hum of local gossip all weave into a vivid portrait of Alappuzha’s communal spirit.
