The CinePearl Take
Director Omar Ghofran showcases a keen eye for stark, atmospheric framing that turns the barren dunes into a character of their own. The lead’s raw, unpolished performance—anchored by an unknown actor—adds an unsettling authenticity to the quest. While the pacing drifts in places, the film’s thematic focus on greed versus redemption keeps the narrative grounded. It’s a modest but memorable entry in the treasure‑hunt sub‑genre.
