The CinePearl Take

While the cast remains anonymous, the lead performance—an unnamed mother spiraling between fierce protectiveness and paranoid dread—anchors the film’s emotional core. Abrantes’ pacing is deliberately measured, allowing the creeping unease to build before unleashing a series of visceral set‑pieces. The film’s biggest strength lies in its thematic exploration of how grief can become a weapon in the hands of a hidden cult, turning everyday suburban spaces into hunting grounds.
