The CinePearl Take

Director Homero Olivetto delivers a breezy, well‑timed comedy that never lets the narrative lag, thanks in large part to the magnetic chemistry of the three leads, especially the breakout performance by newcomer Mariana Silva, whose comedic timing feels both natural and daring. The pacing is deliberately upbeat, mirroring the characters’ sudden rush of adrenaline, while the underlying theme—how money reshapes identity—adds a subtle layer of depth. Though the plot follows familiar tropes, the film’s cultural specificity and vibrant São Paulo backdrop keep it from feeling derivative.
