Why Watch This
Julian Wittmann’s off‑beat documentary captures the chaotic road‑trip of a Bavarian “lederhosn” crew as they chase neon‑lit dreams in Las Vegas, blending raw cultural clash with humor and unexpected self‑reflection.

The CinePearl Take
Wittmann’s handheld camera work feels like you’re riding shotgun, letting the audience absorb the absurdity of leather‑clad Bavarians navigating the excess of the Strip. The film’s pacing is deliberately uneven, mirroring the protagonists’ own disorientation, while the recurring motif of “home‑grown identity vs. American spectacle” adds depth beyond the laughs. Though there are no traditional “performances,” the unscripted banter among the travelers becomes the film’s most compelling character.
