The CinePearl Take
Montgomery’s direction shines in the film’s fluid action sequences, but the pacing wavers in the middle act, leaving some narrative threads under‑explored. The voice performance of the new Aang—though uncredited—captures the character’s youthful optimism and lingering grief with surprising nuance. Thematically, the movie excels at portraying the burden of legacy and the search for identity in a fractured world.
