The CinePearl Take
Samir’s direction is unflinching, using claustrophobic alleyways and muted lighting to mirror the protagonists’ internal confinement. The unnamed lead delivers a haunting, almost wordless performance that anchors the film’s emotional core. While the pacing occasionally lingers, the slow‑burn tension ultimately pays off in a gut‑punch climax that lingers long after the credits.
