The CinePearl Take

Bezançon’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, allowing the escalating farce to unfold without losing momentum. While the cast isn’t listed, the ensemble’s chemistry shines through the rapid-fire dialogue and physical comedy. The film’s biggest strength is its willingness to lampoon classic murder‑mystery tropes, turning tension into laughter. However, the scattershot jokes sometimes feel uneven, leaving a few scenes feeling more forced than funny.
