Why Watch This

"Bhaybheet" offers a gritty, low‑budget thriller that leans into atmospheric dread rather than cheap jump‑scares. Director Deepak Naidu builds tension through claustrophobic framing and a relentless cat‑and‑mouse chase through a decaying industrial complex.

The CinePearl Take

Naidu’s debut is surprisingly disciplined, letting the setting—a rust‑bitten warehouse district—become a character in its own right. The lone performance by newcomer Rohan Mehra (as the haunted security guard) anchors the film’s emotional core, delivering a restrained terror that never feels over‑acted. While the pacing occasionally stalls, the final act’s relentless crescendo makes up for the lag, leaving a lingering sense of unease. The film’s underlying commentary on corporate neglect adds a layer of social relevance rarely seen in B‑movie thrillers.
