The CinePearl Take
Radha Mohan’s direction balances suspense and sentiment with a measured pace that never lets the intrigue sag. S.J. Suryah shines, infusing his puppet‑maker with both vulnerability and sly humor, while Aditi Balan provides a grounded emotional anchor. The film’s central motif—strings that control both dolls and people—offers a clever commentary on fate and free will, making the climax feel earned rather than contrived.
