The CinePearl Take
James Sobol Kelly delivers a chillingly precise portrait of Borg’s stoic perfection, while Ben Bradshaw erupts with the raw, unpredictable energy that defined McEnroe. Pedersen’s direction keeps the narrative brisk, never letting the technicalities of tennis drown out the psychological stakes. The film’s biggest triumph is its ability to make a single match feel like a cultural watershed.
