The CinePearl Take

The film’s lead—an unnamed deep‑sea diver played with gritty realism—anchors the story, delivering a performance that oscillates between quiet dread and raw panic. Director Alex Rivera keeps the pacing tight, using limited lighting and sound to amplify the sense of isolation. While the script leans on familiar tropes, its thematic focus on confronting personal trauma beneath literal pressure adds a resonant layer. The final act, though predictable, rewards patience with a visceral payoff that lingers.
