The CinePearl Take

Cadilhe orchestrates an ensemble that feels like a neighborhood gathering, letting each character’s quirks shine without ever losing narrative momentum. The film’s pacing is brisk, with punchy set‑pieces that balance slapstick and clever wordplay. Its central theme—ordinary people reclaiming power from faceless institutions—resonates long after the credits roll. Though the cast isn’t marquee‑named, the chemistry among the locals feels authentic and endearing.
