The CinePearl Take
Yamashiro’s direction is unapologetically bold, letting the story breathe while the pacing deliberately lingers on its most haunting set pieces. Natsuki Hanae shines as the tormented protagonist, infusing the role with a quiet intensity that grounds the film’s more outlandish moments. Thematically, the movie explores the danger of unchecked curiosity, a motif that resonates long after the credits roll.
