The CinePearl Take
Lead voice talent Maya Lin (as Ddotty) delivers a performance that’s both spunky and vulnerable, anchoring the film’s lofty premise in genuine feeling. The pacing alternates between breath‑taking set‑pieces inside the ever‑shifting Tower and slower, character‑driven interludes that let the story’s themes breathe. Visually, the film’s use of layered watercolor textures feels fresh, while its core message—accepting the impermanence of moments—rings louder than any magical quest.
