The CinePearl Take

Dutta’s restrained direction lets the silence speak louder than dialogue, turning ordinary kitchen sounds into an unsettling score. The lone performance by the unnamed lead—a mother grappling with grief—anchors the film with a raw, almost palpable vulnerability. While the pacing may test patience, the deliberate slowness rewards viewers who appreciate atmosphere over plot twists, and the recurring motif of the humming fridge becomes a powerful symbol of emotional stasis.
