Why Watch This

If you love jaw‑dropping stunt work and a heroine who does her own action, “Dhaakad” delivers a showcase of high‑risk set pieces that push the envelope for Indian cinema. The film also tries to blend a spy thriller vibe with a story about a stuntwoman fighting to protect her team.

Best For

Action fans, Stunt lovers, Kangana fans, Women‑empowerment seekers, Thriller seekers

The CinePearl Take

Kangana Ranaut throws herself into the physicality of the role, and her commitment is the film’s most compelling asset. Unfortunately, the screenplay leans heavily on spectacle, leaving character arcs thin and the narrative pacing uneven. Razneesh Ghai’s direction showcases impressive set pieces but struggles to weave them into a cohesive story, resulting in a roller‑coaster that feels more like a stunt reel than a fully realized thriller.
