The CinePearl Take
Caduff’s patient pacing lets the archival clips breathe, allowing the raw energy of early shows to contrast sharply with today’s polished livestreams. The documentary’s strongest moments come from candid interviews with pioneering figures like Poly Styrene’s sister and the original members of The Slits, whose stories feel both intimate and urgent. While the narrative occasionally drifts into chronological minutiae, the thematic through‑line—women reclaiming the stage and the stage reclaiming them—is compelling and resonant.
