The CinePearl Take

Felipe Vellas crafts a slow‑burn mystery that rewards patience, using muted color palettes and lingering close‑ups to echo Elize’s fragmented psyche. Comparato delivers a powerhouse turn, slipping seamlessly between vulnerability and steely resolve. The film’s pacing occasionally drags, but its thematic depth—exploring how women’s stories are erased and reclaimed—keeps the experience compelling.
