The CinePearl Take
The film’s handheld camera work throws you straight into the mosh‑pit, making every riff feel visceral. Isaac Carpenter’s tight, thunderous drumming provides a compelling contrast to the band’s classic chaos, especially in the “Paradise City” finale. While the pacing sometimes lingers on crowd shots, the narrative arc—rising tension, mid‑tour setbacks, triumphant closing—keeps the momentum alive. Themes of reinvention and the price of fame echo loudly through each backstage confession.
