The CinePearl Take

Flávia Neves crafts a measured, meditative pace that mirrors the dense mist enveloping the town, allowing each lingering shot to breathe. Lead actress Maria Silva delivers a restrained yet searing performance, embodying a mother torn between tradition and inevitable change. Themes of environmental neglect and intergenerational trauma unfold with subtlety, rewarding attentive viewers. Though the narrative occasionally drifts, its poetic visual language compensates, leaving a lingering echo long after the credits roll.
