The CinePearl Take
Boulianne’s debut shines brightest in the breakout performance of newcomer Léa Moreau, whose manic yet vulnerable turn as the troupe’s embattled lead draws both laughs and sympathy. The film’s pacing is deliberately uneven, mirroring the chaos of a production that’s constantly on the brink of collapse. Underneath the slapstick, the story probes how art clings to relevance when the world has moved on, making the comedy feel oddly poignant.
