Why Watch This
Fourth Floor traps you in a suffocating high‑rise where every hallway hides a new layer of paranoia. Director L. R. Sundarapandi blends tight cinematography with a relentless cat‑and‑mouse mind game that keeps the tension humming from start to finish.
Best For
Tamil thriller fans, Mind‑bender lovers, Fans of psychological horror, Aari Arujunan admirers, Late‑night viewers, Urban suspense seekers
The CinePearl Take
Aari Arujunan delivers his most unsettling performance yet, slipping between desperation and calculated calm as his character unravels the mystery of the fourth floor. Deepshika and Pavithra add texture, turning the building’s creaks into emotional echoes. The film’s pacing is deliberately uneven, mirroring the protagonist’s fractured psyche, while Sundarapandi’s use of muted colour palettes heightens the claustrophobic dread. It’s a bold, if occasionally over‑ambitious, entry into Tamil psychological cinema.
