Pandemic drama fans, Indie lovers, Comedy‑drama seekers, Quarantine binge‑watchers, Feel‑good vibe hunters
The CinePearl Take
Werner’s direction is surprisingly assured for a debut, letting the script’s witty observations breathe without over‑styling. The ensemble—though uncredited—delivers a surprisingly natural chemistry, especially the lead’s dead‑pan delivery that anchors the film’s emotional core. The pacing drifts lazily at times, mirroring lockdown ennui, but the final act pulls the narrative together with a satisfying note of optimism.
