Comedy fans, Portuguese speakers, Indie film lovers, Festival goers, Culture seekers, Light‑hearted date night
The CinePearl Take
Directors Eduardo Vaisman and Rodrigo Van Der Put keep the film’s tempo brisk, letting jokes land before they have a chance to fizzle. The surprise cameo by veteran Brazilian comic Paulo Gustavo steals several scenes, anchoring the chaotic ensemble. While the plot is simple, the film’s charm lies in its observational humor about love, family, and the small lies we tell ourselves. It’s an earnest, if uneven, showcase of emerging Brazilian talent.
