Why Watch This
Kanjoos Makhichoos blends slapstick humor with a sharp look at the culture of penny‑pinching in modern India. Amitabh Bachchan’s dead‑pan delivery makes the miser’s antics both absurd and oddly relatable.
Best For
Comedy fans, Amitabh Bachchan fans, Family movie night, Fans of Indian satire, Light‑hearted drama lovers
The CinePearl Take
Director Vipul Mehta keeps the story breezy, though the pacing drifts in the second act. Bachchan steals the show, turning a simple miser into a surprisingly layered character. The film’s biggest strength is its witty commentary on greed, even if the script leans on familiar tropes.
