The CinePearl Take
Director (unknown) blends slapstick with heartfelt moments, letting the chemistry between the leads shine despite a thin script. The supporting comic relief from the veteran character actor steals several scenes, while the pacing occasionally drags in the middle act. Ultimately, the film’s theme of love’s unexpected sour notes feels oddly resonant.
