The CinePearl Take

Masud’s direction balances a tender family narrative with the looming shadows of political unrest, never losing sight of the child’s perspective. Rokeya Prachy delivers a quietly powerful performance as the mother, grounding the film’s emotional core. The pacing is deliberate, allowing the audience to breathe the humid, earthen atmosphere that the title evokes, while the recurring motif of the clay bird becomes a poignant symbol of fragile hope.
