The CinePearl Take

Director Amar Deokar steers the narrative with a steady, unflinching pace that lets the protagonist’s hope breathe amidst the oppressive backdrop of rural bureaucracy. The lead child actor delivers a surprisingly nuanced performance, balancing innocence with a steely resolve. While the film’s modest production values sometimes betray its indie budget, they also lend an earnest texture that amplifies its social commentary on youth aspiration and systemic neglect.
