The CinePearl Take
Shebar’s patient, observational style lets the monk’s quiet rituals breathe, making every cracked shard feel like a visual metaphor for fractured memory. The film’s deliberate pacing may test impatient viewers, but it rewards those who savor contemplative storytelling. The most striking moment comes when the monk silently reassembles a shattered vase, a visual climax that crystallizes the film’s theme of reconstruction.
