The CinePearl Take
Director João Nuno Pinto captures the roar of the Mosquito’s engines with a kinetic camera style that never lets the tension dip. The standout performance comes from the squadron’s lead pilot, whose haunted eyes convey the moral weight of each raid. While the pacing occasionally lurches between aerial spectacle and slower, character‑driven moments, the film’s thematic focus on sacrifice and national identity feels both timely and resonant.
