Why Watch This

Murder Party spins a wildly absurd take on the classic “murder‑mystery dinner” game, turning a suburban soirée into a chaotic comedy of errors. The film thrives on its razor‑sharp one‑liners and the chemistry of an eclectic ensemble that keeps the laughs coming even as the body count rises.

Best For

Comedy lovers, Dark humor fans, Party game enthusiasts, French cinema fans, Ensemble cast admirers, Satire seekers

The CinePearl Take

Sarah Stern delivers a delightfully deadpan performance as the unsuspecting hostess, anchoring the film’s manic energy. Nicolas Pleskof’s direction balances slapstick set‑pieces with a surprisingly tight narrative rhythm, preventing the chaos from feeling aimless. The supporting cast—especially Miou‑Miou’s flamboyant cameo—adds layers of comic texture that elevate the script’s satirical edge.
