Maria Ripoll’s “My Wife Is a Ghost” blends classic screwball chaos with a supernatural twist, delivering laugh‑out‑loud moments as a newly‑wed husband tries to navigate marital bliss while his bride haunts the house—literally. The film’s rapid‑fire dialogue and inventive set‑pieces keep the comedy fresh and the romance surprisingly heartfelt.

The CinePearl Take
Ripoll proves her comic instincts are razor‑sharp, orchestrating a whirlwind of misunderstandings that never feels forced. The breakout performance by the film’s unknown lead—who plays the bewildered husband—anchors the absurdity with genuine panic and charm. While the pacing occasionally sprints past its own jokes, the central theme of love persisting beyond the veil gives the madcap antics an unexpectedly tender core.
