The CinePearl Take
Anjali Menon delivers a breakout performance, grounding the film’s speculative premise with raw, relatable urgency. Director R. S. Venu balances brisk, pulse‑pounding sequences with slower, lyrical moments that let the natural beauty of Kerala breathe. The pacing is deliberately uneven—mirroring the clash between tradition and innovation—while the recurring motif of water underscores the film’s central theme of humanity’s fragile relationship with nature.
