The CinePearl Take

LeGare’s debut showcases a surprisingly confident sense of pacing, letting the story breathe between slapstick set‑pieces and quieter moments of sibling bonding. The canine’s “performance”—brought to life by a skilled animal trainer and subtle voice‑over work—steals the spotlight, especially in the climactic park chase. While the script leans on familiar tropes, the film’s heart shines through in its earnest celebration of responsibility and unconditional love.
