The CinePearl Take

Lekh Tandon’s direction leans into quiet observation, letting each scene breathe while the narrative unfolds at a deliberate, contemplative pace. Nadira Babbar anchors the film with a nuanced performance that captures a mother’s quiet resilience, while Govind Namdev adds a gritty counterpoint as the patriarch clinging to old ways. The film’s central theme—balancing tradition with modern aspirations—rings true without ever feeling preachy, making the emotional beats land with genuine weight.
