The CinePearl Take
Nicolas Vanier’s direction shines in the way he lets the landscape become a character, using sweeping aerial shots to amplify the protagonists’ sense of wonder. Young actress Léa Dubois delivers a surprisingly nuanced performance, balancing curiosity with the vulnerability of a child out of her depth. The pacing is deliberately unhurried, allowing moments of quiet reflection that elevate the film beyond a typical action‑driven family fare.
