Why Watch This

If you’re after a snapshot of 80s teen raunch comedy, Porky's II delivers the same crude jokes, beach‑side hijinks, and over‑the‑top pranks that made the original a cult hit, all wrapped in a nostalgic 1950s high‑school setting.

Best For

Teen comedy fans, 80s nostalgia junkies, B‑movie enthusiasts, Party crowd, Coming‑of‑age seekers

The CinePearl Take

Bob Clark’s sequel leans heavily on the same bawdy formula, but the pacing drifts after the first act, leaving the jokes feeling stretched. Mark Herrier’s Billy remains the most charismatic teen, delivering the film’s few genuinely funny moments. The supporting cast, especially Nancy Parsons as the no‑nonsense school secretary, provides occasional sparks, yet the story never quite rises above its cheap‑laugh premise.
