The CinePearl Take
While the cast remains largely anonymous, the ensemble work shines, especially the gritty performance of the lead rescue coordinator, whose stoic calm anchors the chaos. Kim Tae‑gon balances high‑octane action with quiet, human moments, allowing the film’s pacing to breathe between the flood’s roar. Thematically, the movie probes how silence—both literal and institutional—exacerbates disaster, a motif that lingers long after the credits roll.
