The CinePearl Take
Director Peter Mimi delivers a visually striking odyssey, using sweeping aerial shots to make the Sahara feel both intimate and epic. The film’s pacing alternates between breath‑less chase sequences and quieter moments of folklore, keeping the tension alive. While the cast remains undisclosed, the breakout performance of the lead—an emerging Egyptian actor—anchors the story with earnest grit. Thematically, Project X explores the tension between progress and heritage, a resonant note for modern audiences.
