The CinePearl Take
Erige Sehiri’s direction is both lyrical and unflinching, letting the barren landscape speak as loudly as the sparse dialogue. The breakout performance by the film’s lead anchors the story with a quiet intensity that carries the audience through the slow‑burn narrative. While the pacing can feel deliberate, it rewards patience with layered themes of hope, loss, and the human urge to transcend earthly limits.
